I've been waiting....

...nine years, three months and five days to call this man my fiancé....

and now I finally can! 

Yep! On July 26th 2012, on the beach as the sun went down, he got down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I of course bawled my eyes out and just about managed to squeak "YES!" before running about shouting and laughing like a loony! We bought my amazing engagement ring together over a year ago, and it feels so good to finally be able to wear it everyday, and to tell everyone about it, because we'd kept it a secret for so long! We found it in an antique jewellery shop in Leeds and I fell in love with it...it's nearly 100 years old!

So now the wedding planning begins, and I am so excited! First thing is an engagement photo session in a few weeks, and of course I'll be sharing the pictures with you all very soon!

I'll leave you with a photo of us at D's brother and sister in law's wedding on Saturday (which by the was was beautiful!) just after we told his family our news!
